Mystery of Grateful Dead fan missing almost 20 years

Police told local media outlets that the missing man's mother filed a police report Tuesday, saying her son, Jason Callahan, left Myrtle Beach nearly 20 years ago to follow the band the Grateful Dead and hasn't been seen since.

Reading the poorly written piece, I get the impression the police report is a necessary step to do the DNA testing. I do not believe she waited 20 years because she forgot about him.

I hate it ... I really do ... 'cause I'm a born again Christian and ...

But when I listen to that 60's and 70's music .. because I had friends and I sat in listening to jams and recordings .. I have really, really fond memories of people, events and things so very long ago ... that was really pure and nice in it's uniqueness and originality.

Everything today is the same ... that's why they have common core ...

cars have the same basic shape (BASIC, I said), music has the same basic beat and articulation (girls all sound like they're choking on something before whispering in youor ear, f'rinstance), and some et cetera's that keep me detached from 'being here' today.

Maybe I'm just gettin' old
