Islamophobia Is a Myth

Why do liberals fear the working class and ignore anti-Semitic murder? Because they are bigots.

The British press has never seemed as out of touch as it is today. All our broadsheet papers are packed with pleas to the people of France, and other European populations, not to turn into Muslim-killing nutjobs in response to the Charlie Hebdo massacre. The Guardian frets over “Islamophobes seizing this atrocity to advance their hatred.” The Financial Times is in a spin about “Islamophobic extremists” using the massacre to “[challenge] the tolerance on which Europe has built its peace.” One British hack says we should all “fear the coming Islamophobic backlash.” And what actually happened in France as these dead-tree pieces about a possible Islamophobic backlash made their appearance? Jews were assaulted. And killed. “Don’t attack Muslims,” lectures the press as Jews are attacked.

Across Europe, among the right-thinking sections of society, among the political classes, the response to the massacre of the cartoonists and satirists has been the same: to panic about how Them, the native masses, especially the more right-wing sections of the French population, might respond to it. The blood on the floor of the Charlie Hebdo offices was still wet when brow-furrowed observers started saying: “Oh no, the Muslims! Will they be attacked?” It’s the same after every terrorist attack: from 9/11 to 7/7 in London to last year’s Sydney siege to Paris today: Liberals’ instant, almost Pavlovian response to Islamist terror attacks in the West is to worry about a violent uprising of the ill-educated against Muslims. The uprising never comes, but that doesn’t halt their fantasy fears. What’s it all about?

A phobia is an irrational fear. Most people don’t fear islamists, they just want to do (and have something done) about it. And wanting to push back against islam and the atrocities that always come with it is not irrational. The term is just wrong all the way around.

Until that internet thing that 0bama wants - then you most likely won’t be able to put up anything derogatory about 0bama or Islam.

“Islamophobia translates into a fear of Islam. “

Phobia implies there is something wrong with the phobic. It’s more of the Left’s control of the language so they can make the argument go the way they want it to. My impression is that they’ve jumped the language shark and more people are no longer fooled. It’s like the scene in the Princess Bride where the character says, “That word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.”

If “Islamophobia” is defined as a fear and loathing of all that Islam has become, well, yes, it is a very real thing.

Islam has spent CENTURIES in trying to intimidate people into surrender and acceptance of their particular brand of madness, characterized most of all by their absolute refusal to accept criticism of any kind or from any source. When confronted, the Islamic zealots must either reign supreme, or be forced into humbled withdrawal, under threat of death should they approach with their demands again. Their claim to “freedom of speech” has to be absolutely reciprocated, that is, if they are free to criticize the speech or actions of others, then their own must be as fully subject to criticism as well.

In all of the Koran, there is nothing remotely like “The Golden Rule”, in that, regardless of the other person’s origins, the idea is expressed that people should treat others in the same way that they themselves would like to be treated. It is often expressed as “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

There is a clumsy and half-hearted reference to this reciprocity doctrine in the Koran, but it only applies to other acceptable Muslims, and not to the Dhimmi or the Kafir. And face it, to the Muslim, most of the world falls into the other two classifications.

Fearing Islam is the rational reaction. Islam is the death’s head over everyone else.

The Latin word for “hate” and despising is Contemno.

"Islamophobia Is a Myth."

DAHH! A phobia is an irrational fear of some nonexistent threat. Fearing Islam is more like fearing Ebola. The fear of Islam is not irrational. The Islamists are by their own statements are out to murder us in the most "inhumane" ways, Thus the fear of them is far from irrational.

I had a dear friend at work who had met her husband for lunch at a popular restaurant about 10 years ago. When entering the restaurant, her husband inadvertently bumped a table with a muzzie and his burka’d wife sitting at it. In doing so he caused a water glass to tumble, splashing water on the muzzie wife.

After finishing their meal, my friend and her husband left the restaurant, crossed the parking lot and were saying good bye at the side of his truck when the muzzie male, who had followed them out, capped the husband, killing him and shot my friend in the gut. (she now wears a colostomy bag).

Lesson?

You see them in public...give them a wide berth! The muzzie shot the guy because he thought he’d disrespected the wife.

Sounds like the major papers have Muslim owners. Perhaps the Saudi’s did not spend all their oil money on gold plated cars, wine and women.

The thing that keeps the Islamophobia panic alive is not actual violence against Muslims but the right-on politicos’ ill-founded yet deeply held view of ordinary Europeans, especially those of a working-class variety, as racist and stupid.

European liberal elites are like Southern Plantation owners... they know bringing in cheap labor is wrong and hurts everyday citizens so they get very thin-skinned. Europe's elites are buying their second maserati off the backs of middle class working citizens... who are force to compete with rock bottom immigrant labor.
