I liked Girl's night more than Boy's night. Only one or two girls really bombed. Shi and Ol' Yellerteeth are toast, I think.
I definitely think there was a memo about Loren. The judges all said she was "powerful" or something like that, but they didn't seem really enthusiastic. Even now, I can't remember what she sang.
That's what I hate about Idol. We're the viewers and voters, let us have our WGWGs if that's what we want! I remember one year when it got down to ten contestants to vote for. ALL FIVE of the guys were obviously gay, only one was white, and none of them were very good singers. The five guys were quickly eliminated, leaving the five girls. They got their wish when Candice Glover won, and she was the least successful Idol up till that time. Will the producers ever learn?

I find the folks on this thread to be a riot to read and you are very good at keeping the party going. Your management of the thread keeps it interesting and adds clarity, making it easy to quickly read and grasp the content....and you and others make me laugh.
I find it interesting that I can see an entirely different side of various FReepers on the Idol threads, complained to what I see on the political junky threads.

OMG, I LOVE THAT COMMERCIAL!!!
He’s downstairs at 2 am talking to his insurance agent!!! I know my own State Farm guy for 10 years and my extended family insures with him for zillions, and he woud never talk to us at 2 am!!! And the guy is saying in a secretive voice, “uh, you’d do that for me? Sounds great. But you know I’m married!” And then the wife, “She. Sounds. Hideous,” said so perfectly. I just love it.
Hope it’s not “perfect” for tonight.
But I fear it might be. I just finished watching the second Voice audition episode, all these magnificent singers, only one did not get picked up on a team.

Lovey sounds horrible at first. She is cute. In her quiet low register parts, she sounds too breathy. When she’s yelling and highly orchestrated she sounds ok.
