Quarterback Jameis Winston gave perhaps his greatest gift to the Internet in Florida State's blowout loss to Oregon, quite a feat considering all the memes that were born from his bust for shoplifting crab legs from a Tallahassee Publix.
The scene this time around was a last-ditch 4th-and-5 play for the Seminoles in the third quarter, and Winston scrambled to to buy time under duress from the Ducks defense. He rolled right, lost his footing (twice) and fumbled the ball backwards, which Oregon's Tony Washington scooped up and returned 58 yards for a touchdown that all but sealed defending champ Florida State's fate.
The Internet immediately went to work to memorialize a truly inexplicable play, as it often does, with a series of memes and Vines that dip into familiar themes that have worked so often before.

LOL, I was pulling for Oregon, but the poor guy is going to have to live with this forever.
NCAA Football Pingy.

The ref also slipped and fell. The field was probably wet in that area.
When I saw that live the first thing that occurred to me was “Hands up, don’t shoot!”.
I was rooting for the ducks because I did not want the Buccaneers to pick Jameis Winston as the first round pick...
The guy is a time bomb waiting to go off in any NFL locker room...
RKO! Out of nowhere!

Whoever drafts him will regret it, and he’ll be broke by the time he’s 30.
Jameis should return to college one more year and practice not only QB skills but be a model citizen and humble attitude. Dump the thug behavior crap.
I was hoping for some way that they could both lose. Same with ALA vs O.
“Poor guy”?
Egotistical punk, more like. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Ducks trouncing!
I’d suspect that Winston blew away lots of his pro prospects with this performance as well as a rocky season. He will need a squeaky clean season next year with FSU as well much greater maturity at QB.
He might go to MLB. Apparently, he throws in the mid 90's. I wouldn't rule out a baseball career to start.
I can't agree more...hopefully someone will give him that advice
Seriously do not think that will happen...
The money will be too great to pass up..
