I’ve had good experiences with Gurneys. There’s Henry Fields, Cooks Garden is a real find IMHO. If you are looking for a really great Rosemary strain you won’t do any better than rooting the cuttings available in many grocery store produce departments. I’ve done it twice now and both times I got the Spice Islands variety (which can only be propagated via cuttings). Best of luck.

I’m not sure it this fits your needs, but I recently ordered the 2015 Whole Seed Catalog from Baker Creek, which specializes in heirlooms. I don’t have the resources to do much gardening right now but am planning for the future; and I love looking at the beautiful and strange vegetables that we can still get through heirloom seeds. Misato radishes, Romanesco broccoli, and the carrots that come in deep burgundy fascinate me. Baker Creek also has a regular catalog you can get for free by ordering on their website.

White Flower Farm is another favorite of mine.

Does anyone know the best place to buy amaryllis bulbs? I have a fantastic one from this Christmas, purchased already potted at a store; but I’d like next year to grow my own from the best bulbs, and learn how to carry them over year-to-year.

Johnny’s Selected Seeds, my go-to. Kitchen Garden Seeds (Scheepers?).

Indiana Berry for small fruit.

Happy New Year!

Bakers Creek Heirloom Seeds (Rare Seeds)

Absolutely my favorite - more beautiful colored pictures and they are headquartered in Marshfield Missouri - close to my home town.

Pinetree, Baker Creek, Horizon Herbs, Territorial, St. Lawrence, Raintree, Seed Savers Exchange, and some others whose names escape me at the moment.
