QC is process oriented. Checklists, design standards. A good quality organization definitely adds value, but they are not the type to think outside the box and criticize a product on any grounds not on the list.

That actually demonstrates the digression of our culture. An innocent mind (and yes, even adult minds were more innocent in the past, generally speaking) doesn’t get the connection we all get both with the play doh toy and batman squirt gun..

Our minds just “go there” more than they used to. It’s the culture we live in. You can’t look at facebook or hotmail without regular appearances of what, 40 years ago, would have been called pornography.
