The NFL is a social engineering institution now that employs thugs and criminals and uses racial double standards against non-black players.
I feel very fortunate. I’ve been to 4 Cowboys games (not a fan), an ATL Falcons game, 2 Seahawks games, 2 Raiders games (am a fan), a 49er’s game, a Superbowl in San Diego, half a dozen opening day Ranger games, a few Mariners games, a MLB all-star game in Seattle, opening night at the Stars hockey game, a Rose Bowl, an Alamo Bowl, and multiple 3AAA baseball games. I bought the tickets for the Alamo Bowl last year (Duck’s fan). All the rest were promotional. I do have tickets for the first CFB National Championship on 1/12.
I'm a Stillers fan, and was a season ticket holder for 38 years.
I sold the rights to them after they banned smoking in your own seat, and you had to go in the back of the stadium to a designated area.
If I'm paying for the seats, I want the right to smoke, even though I quit years ago {my wife still smokes}.
I follow the Stillers, and am now a casual fan, but with DVR, and a 60+ inch flat screen, it's way better viewing at home {but we had great seats, 35 yard line behind the Stiller's bench}.
Back-to-back AFC Championship games in 09 and 10.
I think he meant “Bread and circus for the masses to keep them FROM thinking about politics.
Totally agree. NFL games are interchangeable colors & team names, same-old, same-old. Boring & meaningless IMO.
Keep up with politics and you won’t be bored. Angered & even terrified, but not bored. Real players with real power over all our lives, that crowd in Washington should be constantly watched.
Seconded. What could be more meaningless than the outcome of some child's game played by adults?
If the home teams win in the NFL wild card games this weekend the Broncos will be playing the Steelers who are seeded #3 in the AFC. I'm a Bronco guy ... rather play Colts who are not accustomed to cold weather outdoor venues ... whereas the Steelers are.
One of my sisters worked in the ticket office for the AZ Cardinals. She said that the Native Americans and the Mexicans always showed up to root for the Cowboys when they played there. Huge fans. I thought that it was funny that Indians would be rooting for the Cowboys.
Yes, “professional athletes” have morphed into pure scum for the most part.
I love sports myself, but have no use for the games anymore either.
I’m just glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way.
“I agree with youI loathe the NFL & NBA. MLB is slowly making its way up to meaningless for me as well.”
Same here. I have not watched a SuperBowl in 20 years. In the last five years I have watched no more than an hour of the NFL, less than 30 minutes of MLB in the last 25 or so years, and not a single second of the NBA in the last 25 years. I have watched a little hockey, but not more than a couple of hours at most in the last two or three years.
“I’m a Stillers fan...”
Ben or Jerry?
Football games are fun to go to....If it is relatively easy to get there.
Foxboro Stadium is only a few miles up the street and i’d go in a heartbeat even if the Pats were 1-14.
Red Sox games on the other hand.....i once had a GF that could get me great seating tix all of the time, once i got my butt into one of those tiny chairs i was pretty happy but it was such a hassle to get there, park etc that i eventually stopped going.
Roger that.
I don’t blame you. I DVR it too and rewatch it.
My wife doesn't like the person who sits in the seat
next to us and will not attend any more games.
I have attached a picture with the view from these
seats.
Tickets will be sold to the highest bidder.
Current Bid: $7,200 EACH for the entire 2015 season
They would have to be. The Steelers do not have cheerleaders.
Gosh — It seems like it was 20 years ago, doesn’t it?
My question is why do so many non-NFL fans feel the need to respond on NFL threads?
