Don't know where Trudeau was going with the second comedy club strip, though, it was just more preaching to his choir.
I've noticed attempts at humor by liberals inevitably is nothing but mean, nasty commentary about the hated subject at hand.
No matter how the left tries to turn a phrase, nearly every attempt the leftists make at humor ends up sounding exactly like Soviet propaganda--and that's all it really is.
As I like to point out, the only difference between the Soviet’s citizens and quite a number of so called Americans is that the Soviets KNEW they were being lied to.
I used to read this strip (had a long bus ride to work). In 1991 he ran a few panels that featured a Black Soldier celebrating a minor injury, as justification to ship out of the war zone. I sent a good old fashioned “letter to the editor” in protest, and haven’t read Doonesbury, since. Thank you.
