It's official!

Elton John and his longtime love, David Furnish, are officially a married couple.

"That's the legal bit done," the famed musician captioned a photo of them signing paperwork. "Now on to the ceremony! #ShareTheLove @DavidFurnish"

‘It's beginning!! The Registrar welcomes our guests. #ShareTheLove,’ John wrote on this Instagram photo. ELTONJOHN VIA INSTAGRAM ‘It's beginning!! The Registrar welcomes our guests. #ShareTheLove,’ John wrote on this Instagram photo. The couple first joined into a civil partnership in 2005, exactly nine years before their wedding ceremony Sunday.

The law for same-sex marriage changed in England and Wales in March, allowing for Sir Elton and Mr. Furnish to make their union official.

DANIEL HAMBURY/EPA Sir Elton John and Mr. David Furnish are seen Dec. 21, 2005, after their civil partnership. Their wedding took place exactly nine years later, on Sunday. "For this legislation to come through is joyous, and we should celebrate it," John said at the time. "We shouldn't just say, 'Oh, well we have a civil partnership. We're not going to bother to get married.' We will get married."

And they did, in front of an intimate star-studded crowd, including singer Ed Sheeran, at their Windsor estate in Berkshire, reports BBC.

ONCE MY FAVORITE SONG, IT NOW REACHES NEW HEIGHTS IN THE VOMITORIUM

"Your Song"

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside

I'm not one of those who can easily hide

I don't have much money but boy if I did

I'd buy a big house where we both could live

If I was a sculptor, but then again, no

Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show

I know it's not much but it's the best I can do

My gift is my song and this one's for you

And you can tell everybody this is your song

It may be quite simple but now that it's done

I hope you don't mind

I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss

Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross

But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song

It's for people like you that keep it turned on

So excuse me forgetting but these things I do

You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue

Anyway the thing is what I really mean

Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen

And you can tell everybody this is your song

It may be quite simple but now that it's done

I hope you don't mind

I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

How wonderful life is while you're in the world

I hope you don't mind

I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

How wonderful life is while you're in the world

Rush said he wasn’t against that before while talking to Elton. Was he a guest as well?

What's even weirder is this guy is only 67 years old.

When I was growing up in the 1970s, and he was having all those hits, he seemed like an old man even then.

I always thought the fantastic talent was Bernie Taupin.

Taupin may have written the best songs, but EJ performed them . . . and EJ is an incredible piano player.

His voice has gotten worse but that’s age happening like anyone; heard DLR lately?

Agree about the piano.

Don’t they get ‘re-married’ every other year? I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of other ceremonies.
Regardless of his lifestyle, Elton has made some good popular music.
