All of the above plus I want a hippopotamus for Christmas.
THAT ^^ silly song needs to be banned, everywhere ;-)

The group I sing with has this in our set and one of us dresses up like a hippo for each show. The kids and the folks at rest home seem to like it... :-)
Yes, and take Obama with you!!!
Regarding “The Boss’s” version of Santa Clause is Coming To Town” I 100% agree!!!!!!!!
Still haven't recovered.
For those of you that don't understand TORTURE:
My favorite has to be “Let There Be a Christmas” by Alan Jackson. Put that one on replay!!!
I’m with you on that one. Worst song ever.
How did the abominable rendition of “Jingle Bells” by the feculant Babs Streisand not make the list? That is too cruel to play to terrorists.
One of my first jobs out of high school was a night stocker at a Kmart. They still had the old tape loop that played the same 10 Christmas songs beginning the day after Thanksgiving. That horrid song played every hour. We would get in trouble by the store manager if he found out we would leave the announcement handset off the hook because it over rode the taped music. He said there could be an emergency announcement (at 3am when the store is closed and that same manager wasn’t on shift until 9am?) but I think he just wanted to torture us.
No, I like that song as well.
It’s really nice.
John Lennon’s opening line “ So this is Christmas and what have you done “ from ‘ Happy Xmas War is Over ‘ enrages me on so many levels.
From the smug, self satisfied, preachy tone to the attitude that led to our abandonment of South Vietnam I despise this song.
I swear this is a litmus test for any potential wife - you like this song? Fine - hit the bricks, dingbat.
Guess you don't like "Radar Love", neither.
“Wonderful Christmastime” is my #1.
I hate, I mean HATE with a pure HATRED the disgustingly stupid song Last Christmas. Did you know there are at least 15 versions of that sickening tune? Me neither till my kids downloaded them all onto a CD and tied me to a chair last Christmas and forced me to hear them all.
I should pay them back this year, but alas, I’m too nice.
I must be getting real old. I am surprised no one has mentioned the oh-so-precious “Silent Night/7 O’Clock News”. I guess we can thank the Good Lord that this one has been forgotten.
I thought it was “Police Nab Me Dad.”
"War is over....if you want it."
? Never heard of it.
It was a song by Golden Earring from the 70s that had the line, “The radio’s playin’ some forgetten song/Brenda Lee’s ‘Comin’ on Strong’....”
Yeah, thanks leftists.
The antiwar movement from the 1970s has an immense amount of blood on their hands.
There is a Vietnamese restaurant in Boston I frequent all the time. Get any of those people on this subject ( even the ones in their 20’s ) and they get crazy. One I know who is in her 40’s got hysterical talking about what the communists did in the South.
John Lennon can rot in hell for all I care.
And we’re concerned about the Christmas and musical preferences of Canadians why?
