Heh. Reminds me of the time my brother couldn’t make it on a fishing trip with the rest of our family. Turns out his wife’s particulars were all lined up to give it another try for conceiving a child. He told me, but told me to fib and say he had to work.
Mom: “Oh, I wish he could have come. He works too hard!”
Me: “Well, he enjoys his work you know. And some times you have to work really long and hard to get results. But - a guy has to do what a guy has to do.”
