Vice President Joe Biden demonstrated that he is slipping deeper into senility this week when he gave a speech swearing that he once violently ambushed an unsuspecting kid who allegedly kicked his sister off of her bicycle.
The tale told by Biden bore a remarkable resemblance to a scene in “The Godfather,” in which Sonny Corleone pummels Carlo Rizzi for abusing Corleone’s pregnant sister, Connie.

Cool montage stolen lock stock and barrel from an earlier film, "Seduced and Abandoned." This is modern film making at its plagiaristic best. Every new film consciously apes old "classic" film scenes. Very "in," very baby carriage rolling down the steps, film school thing.
Joey Plugs was a key man on the team that joined John Wayne on their search throughout the Southwest to find a young (and pretty) girl who had been kidnapped by bloodthirsty Apache Raiders.
Naturally, this has caused PTSD in Joey ever since, causing memory flashbacks. In fact, it damaged his career riding for the Pony Express and caused him to refuse to fly to Paris as Lucky Lindbergh's co-pilot.
I only hope he will have recovered sufficiently by 2015 to take his place as candidate for President on the Democrat ticket (Michelle in for Veep).
