For the information of rest of the U.S. , Philly sports media and fans believe that residents of south NJ owe their teams their loyalty, despite living in a different state.
Love it that Christie is putting Philly fans in their place. They are YOUR teams, NOT ours (in NJ). Suck it Philadelphia fans.

Oh, and I do hate the Cowboys, primarily because they are everything Texas is not supposed to be. Namely, fake, plastic, ostentatious, and overly corporate.

Maybe just say he tipped the stadium in the Cowboy’s favor. Philly fans will believe it!
While I personally have no problem with this I’m not sure it was a very smart thing to do politically for a self proclaimed moderate populist Republican with Presidential ambitions next election.

Philadelphia sports franchises are very arrogant and entitled about the loyalty of south Jersey residents. If you don't live in the media market, you cant understand it.
And both morning hosts on the Philly talk radio station 1210 (not even a sports station) have their drawers in a bunch over this.

I can’t stand Christie but I like the Cowboys and could care less about the Eagles - so cudos to Christie.
