Ever notice that England and Ireland never make the cut in these pageants? Yet many on this site seem to think that folks either from or descended from these cultures are superior... I'm not arguing for or against the idea that English or Irish cultures have produced 'superior' people ... but I would definitely oppose the idea that a beauty pageant is an effective way of separating "superior" from "inferior" people. Most beauty pageant winners strike me as being decorative, but vapid.

Yeah, in order to argue the opposite, you’d have to equate beauty with superiority.
