An Osteen woman who Volusia deputies said used to abuse her mother violated an injunction against her by making more than 500 telephone calls to her deputies said.
That is not counting at least 12 times that Kimberly Skinner, 23, tried to visit her mother, investigators said.
On Sunday alone, Skinner called her mother 22 times, deputies said.
Skinner, charged with aggravated stalking and violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence, was being held without bail Monday at the Volusia County Branch Jail.
According to the mother, Shirley Sharon, 60, since the injunction was served Jan. 22, “her daughter has willfully disobeyed it and continued to call, visit and harass her,” investigators wrote in their report. Sharon showed deputies photographs of bruises and earlier injuries she said Skinner caused, a charging document states.
Skinner’s 58-year-old father confirmed to deputies that he has heard his daughter harass Sharon, his ex-wife, while he was visiting Sharon, the report states. Sharon could not immediately be reached Monday afternoon.

Stalking is terrifying and serious. I am sorry that is happening to you. I have had 2 stalkers- both men I dated who didn’t take kindly to me ending things. I am almost untraceable and do look in my rear view mirror occasionally.
One of them did trace me to a town I had relocated to in an effort to get away from him. A couple of years later, i was shopping with a girlfriend and we were at a makeup counter at a dept store. I was adjusting a mirror to check the color of some makeup I had applied to my face and when I looked in the mirror, I saw him behind me, trying to hide behind a table stacked with perfume.
Completely.
Terrifying.
