Police were on Thursday investigating the death of a 21-year-old transgender woman who was gunned down while pounding on the front door of a South Los Angeles home seeking help.
Deshawnda Sanchez, known as “Tata,” was shot around 4 a.m. Wednesday on the front porch of a home near South Wilton Place and West 62nd Street (map), according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

I had a discussion on this subject with some liberal family members...one who is gay. They insisted we are who and what we self-identify as being. So if a man wants to be a woman he can.
My response was this; if a man who "self-identifies" as a woman left DNA behind when committing a crime, who would the police be looking for, a man or a woman? They said a man. I said, checkmate.
We are what we are, and science, not "feelings" prove it.

I don’t care what you describe yourself as, sexually speaking, but no one should be loudly knocking on any stranger’s front door at 4 am, unless you are ready to be dealt with as an imminent threat.

I have seen some “transgender” people who, when they dress up as women, they don’t look too bad.
This one...not so much. Still looks like a guy except for the tata’s of course.
Hands, arms, face, knees, all looks like a guy. How do you get such large assets (shall we say) and still have hands and legs that look like a guy. I assumed they would be giving this person some kind of hormone to make the tata’s and wouldn’t that affect other parts of the body?
I don’t think they are actually mutilated in all cases. Sometimes, they are cross-dressing men who may or may not indicate some intent to be mutilated in the future. Sometimes, they use hormones and implants to develop some secondary characteristics of the opposite gender, but remain otherwise men.
The opposite applies when speaking of women whose mental illness is centered on their gender.
Good advice, especially if you’re the size of the dude who was knocking on the door that night.
