DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating after a body was found in the street Wednesday afternoon at Singleton Boulevard and Vilbig Road.

Witnesses tell CBSDFW they saw a man scribble something in Spanish on his van. He then tied one end of a rope around his neck and the other end around a fire hydrant. The man then drove off, decapitating himself.

The van came to a stop without hurting anyone.

It’s not clear exactly what the man wrote on the van.

Perhaps it said “I’m sorry for sneaking into your country and stealing your benefits & jobs” or some such.

That’s fairly inventive, but ... ouch. I guess he didn’t read up on decapitations in France via guillotine, and how you actually live for a few seconds after the job is done.

Luckily no one else was hurt by the van.

He should've gotten the book "Final Exit" to get an easier way to go.

If there's a Spanish edition.

Well, he does get a 9.6 for originality that’s for sure.

BS. There wasn't a Spanish-speaker on the street there in Dallas who could translate?

I can only conclude it was something the liberal media didn't want to report.

Did the scribling say, “sorry about the gross mess”?

No way, I'd give him a 10.0

Traffic on Singleton during rush hour can be very frustrating, but this...

It's a wonder he wasn't run over preparing to kill himself.

A guy did that in New York City in the summer. Chained himself to a pole then went into his car and drove off decapitating himself. A very similar suicide. But in the Bronx case the guy did not leave a note or any written info.
