TMZ ^ | December 1, 2014 | Staff

Rosie O'Donnell is a "malcontent" who is bringing down "The View" and is impossible to deal with ... so claim well-placed sources in the show's production.

We're told Rosie came in thinking she'd be in the lead position at the table -- "the moderator." We're told she was outraged when it became clear the title and the power belonged to Whoopi.

Rosie is a failure in every other way, no reason for this to be any different.

Agree Wallace is just as bad, she isn’t a conservative and can’t even play the role of one on tV

That is an interesting question TX girl. Who is there target audience? The show must have a plan that they are trying to attract a certain segment of daytime TV watchers.

Middle age minority big city women? I just can believe that this group would appeal to any heterosexual men. Even liberal men.

And a civil, productive debate would be horrible TV.

I have wondered what it was like on the set of “Star Trek: The next Generation” with Goldberg there. Must have been hell for the actors and crew. Although a good practice for Stewart to later work with mutants a la “X-Men.”

” her previous talk show didn’t get into social/political issues, did it?”

Not really, unless you want to count her going off on Tom Selleck for being pro-gun...

Don’t judge Sarah by the sound of her voice, but by the content of her words.

I don’t care who you are, who would lower themselves to work under Whoopi? That is like working under a dog’s hinny.

She did go off the rails on her old show when she ambushed Tom Selleck because of his association with the NRA.

Who is there target audience?

Liberals in the entertainment industry and the media are all about preaching the gospel of liberalism to the masses. With liberalism playing out in the real world, failing from 0bama and the dems policies and the low ratings that come from all this, just shows the masses are no longer listening to them.

It's just these industry heads haven't figured it out yet because they have all doubled-down on failure because it is their religion. Which would make them sort of liberal religious fanatics. It makes sense why their mentality would bring Rosie back since they think they need a hard-core liberal at the pulpit but Americans are getting tired of being preached to and see through these liberal elites.

They have lost the black audience too - a rival show is almost entirely black women, younger - happier... The Talk or The Chat or something equally ridiculous

I think the first time I ever saw Rosie O'Donnell on television was when she was a stand up comic on one of the then sort of popular comedy club shows. The main reason I noticed her was that she was not funny and wasn't getting very many laughs. A bit later on the same show used her as the MC introducing the acts. o my guess was they figured out she didn't have any talent as a comic but for some reason somebody running the show liked her. When she came out as a lesbian, not to mention her marked resemblance to the source of pork products, the usual knee pad route for untalented female entertainers to make their way in the industry seemed unlikely and has been a puzzle ever since.

About twenty years have now passed and if anything the puzzle has deepened to Marianas Trench dimensions. The woman cannot act, isn't funny, is cringingly ignorant, foul mouthed, morbidly obese, well past the age when sans about sixty pounds she might have been consider Irish colleen cute, and yet she's made quite a good and long living in an industry where careers can go from boom to bust in weeks. Whoopee Goldberg may be a racist with a face that could stop Big Ben, but she was a funny comedienne in her day and showed real acting talent in a few very popular films. Seeing a genuine conservative woman spar with her could be interesting. But with O'Donnell? The conservative would need to wear a spittle mask and have pit bull pepper spray at hand.

Oh, I know...there HAVE been those shows. But not in a long, long, long, time.

Without idiots yelling at each other, cutting each other off, and denying debate...these is nothing worth watching!

Ha Ha.

I just watched the clip linked at Drudge. She’s one angry, hostile, obnoxious gal. And she’s even chomping her gum angrily. You can tell by the way the others are speaking to her that they’re pretty nervous of her reactions....she’s intimidating.

I thought she was supposed to be happy now that she’s been “married” to some other babe. Guess not.

Rosie is a mean person, that doesn’t sell in a format like The View. Perhaps she should take up boxing - that would be a good career match.

Maybe 2 months ago that show was on the idiot box in the dentist office waiting room.

I don’t remember the context, but they were talking about dropping their pants.

She stands up and screeches something along the lines of she thought about dropping her pants but she was going commando.

I can’t remember a woman disgusting me more.

She destroyed in 2 years a woman’s magazine that had been published for over a century—McCall’s.
