A GOP staffer has accused First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama of classlessness, lashing out at their attire and attitude at the White House turkey pardon.

The girls, aged 16 and 13, prompted playful criticism after scowling at their father, President Barack Obama, as he gave his annual Thanksgiving address on national television.

But Elizabeth Lauten, once a media director for the Republican National Committee, went a step further to call the girls 'classless' and take aim at their short skirts which 'deserve a spot at a bar'

They look like they are sick of their dad’s nonsense.

FReepers and many others already have that base covered, although the kids are usually not the subject of any criticism. Most of us wouldn’t have bothered to make fun of MeMeMechelle’s clothes and appearance either if the lamestream media had not been so hell bent on trying to brainwash the world into believing that Mrs. Zero was the reincarnation of Jackie Kennedy and a new style icon for the ages.

Yep, all we need while trying to shake the “War on Women” smear is for a GOP operative to come out and launch a “War on Obama’s girls”. Jeesh!

They’re kids, dressed like kids.

That said, they would have to put on sweat pants or something at my kids’ school because their skirts are too short, but ... that’s how we roll out here in fly-over country.

For city kids they are probably dressed OK.

Thanks. The daughters Zapatero have dreadful posture and the whole family lack any fashion taste. Goodness!

I looked it up:

Why do Jay Carney and Claire Shipman decorate their house with Soviet propaganda posters?

"That was the most ridiculous photo shoot in world history."

Agreed! It's strange. More artificially homogenized than Leave it to Beaver, yet loaded with Marxist art in the background.

Someone should photoshop some Ferguson protesters in the background.

Really? Those skirts are so short that it would require some skilled maneuvering to sit down without showing their bum. It’s a televised presidential address, not a high school sporting event; they are terribly underdressed. It’s not their fault, it’s a mom’s job to guide her daughters in this area.

If a politician can’t run a family, how’s he/she going to run a country?

And that, to me, is the essential point. The attack isn't directed, as such, on the offspring but is a well-deserved assault on the horrendous parenting of hussein and Moochelle. Compare and contrast with the attractive but modest and traditional American attire worn by Todd and Palin's beautiful children -- a family exemplifying good, God-based parenting. One family exudes class, a concept foreign to the illegal occupant currently in the White Hut.

Agreed. The Obama parents are flipping America the bird yet again, this time through their “off-limits” children.

The staffer failed only in a technical sense... she should have directed her disgust solely at BO and Michelle, for allowing (teaching, more likely) their spawn to *repeatedly* display arrogant disdain under the color of “kids just being kids”, then “teens just being teens”.

If the Obamas had taught their supposed children humility, decorum, propriety, and respect for America and the roll of the First Family, this lady would have had nothing to write about. She is being attacked for “attacking” the kids, but she what she wrote was truthful.

If the parents won’t do their jobs - or worse, they actively teach their children to be hateful and disrespectful - society will do the teaching in one form or another, and in a way not very polite.

The Obamas want trouble, any way they can stir it up.
