A GOP staffer has accused First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama of classlessness, lashing out at their attire and attitude at the White House turkey pardon.

The girls, aged 16 and 13, prompted playful criticism after scowling at their father, President Barack Obama, as he gave his annual Thanksgiving address on national television.

But Elizabeth Lauten, once a media director for the Republican National Committee, went a step further to call the girls 'classless' and take aim at their short skirts which 'deserve a spot at a bar'

I wish the Obama girls would smile once in a while and dress more appropriately. It’s not their fault that they dress the way they do, their mother is a poor role model. But they are in the public eye and should at least TRY to pretend they are enjoying their multi-million dollar trips around the world and their vacations in Aspen, Vail, Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii.

Disagree... If a politician can’t run a family, how’s he/she going to run a country?

I’m in NOLA. Cassidy’s 17 year old unmarried daughter is knocked up. Using your logic I should vote for Landrieu?

That was the most ridiculous photo shoot in world history.

Total feel of a stupid ad one would see in Good Housekeeping...

...complete with a photoshopped library bookshelf!

“Just guessing you folks never went to high school in the 1970s. I did. Perhaps the experience has clouded my judgment”

I went in the 1960s. In my neck of the woods, high-school girls were not allowed to dress like that in the 1970s.

“You may be so low class to trash two teen girls, 13 and 15 I think, but hopefully most aren’t.”

Pointing out the misconduct of public figures is not “trashing.”

“It does nothing for our side.”

Sure it does. If nothing else, it points out that there is an alternative point of view.

“Does that go for the Palin kids and any Republican politician’s kids?”

Why would you even ask that question? Oh, wait a minute: you want to set me up for a false accusation of condoning what the scumstream media did to Palin’s kids.

No, thanks.

Yep, if they only had that great Red Chinese poster behind them, they’d have been double plus good enthusiastic.

I ask the question because of the vulgarity directed towards the Palin kids and directing the same vulgarity toward the Obama (or any politician’s)kids is wrong. The kids haven’t chosen/given consent to be public figures. They should be off limits. IMO

Is that alternative point of view the same as the liberal media point of view which condones trashing children? Sorry but I disagree. Kids should be off limits. They didn’t have a choice in their “public figure” status.

Right? lol. I’m a woman (middle aged, married for 25 yrs, 4 kids) and I remember my teen years. And I got to relive them with my four kids, one of whom is still in high school.

Yay goody for you, lol.

Seriously though, I sent my kid (the youngest) back upstairs to change before going to school, a dance, etc.

Thank God she wasn’t on National TV being slammed by viewers.

We need to remember these kids are just that. Kids. They aren’t their parents.

And you can bet your ass I don’t give a damn what anyone thinks about how I parent my kids.

Most politicians trot their kids out, or the kids get trotted out by the media. It still doesn’t make trashing them right.

There’s right and wrong. And it’s wrong to trash kids.

Eh, they dress like teens in 2014. Actually, I think they dress on the more conservative side for teens.

I always hated how the media and libs trashed the Bush twins.

NO matter what their behavior?

You are living on the wrong planet.

There is morality and decency on the one I live on.
