A GOP staffer has accused First Daughters Malia and Sasha Obama of classlessness, lashing out at their attire and attitude at the White House turkey pardon.
The girls, aged 16 and 13, prompted playful criticism after scowling at their father, President Barack Obama, as he gave his annual Thanksgiving address on national television.
But Elizabeth Lauten, once a media director for the Republican National Committee, went a step further to call the girls 'classless' and take aim at their short skirts which 'deserve a spot at a bar'

How many teenagers have you raised? Teens make faces all the time for many reasons.
I hated what the media did to the Bush twins and slamming the young Obama girls is no better imo.
The dress length is fine, imo.
Did you think that about any of the previous presidents kids?
When the Obama kids are staffers or Dem Party operatives or elected officials of the Demonrat Party I’ll have a problem with them. Right now they are children and can be forgiven their childish behavior because, well, they’re children....
Maybe we’ll get to see them make that face on NBC on election night 2020....
They are dressed fine. They are teens. And if their parents thought otherwise then they should have made sure they dressed differently. There’s nothing wrong with either outfit.

Barack Obama chided Americans and said that we can’t just go setting our thermostats at whatever temperature WE want them at (with no concern for the rest of the world, either our standard of living or the impact caused by man-made global climate change).
I don’t think that DC thermostat is set to 68 degrees in the winter.
They will both be adults then.

If we accept that, then it is equally wrong of him to try and milk the family relationship for approval points.
If kids are off limits, then they should also be off the stage.

i’m sorry those short skirts are not extremely conservative. and i like short skirts on women. on teenage daughters, of the president,televised, no. no yardstick would rank them as extremely conservative clothing.

IMO, as a father and grandfather, those skirts are way too short and those attitudes way too obstreperous.

Can’t believe that Lauten was a “Media Director”. What do they teach in ‘Communications’ classes now a days???
