DALLAS -- Two people were injured in a single car crash on McKinnon Street Wednesday morning.
A Texas Department of Public safety spokesperson said troopers were called to the scene around 7:41 a.m. Investigators say the 27-year-old driver lost control and hit a guardrail after driving over a wet spot in the road.
According to the DFW Scanner Facebook page, the exact location of the crash is unknown.
The 2015 McLaren P1 was heavily damaged in the crash. The driver and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to Parkland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to a spokesperson from Park Place Premier Collection, the exotic car was sold by the dealership Tuesday, one day before the crash.

LOL now that’s a name for the ages....hard to believe it was 32 yrs ago...(I had to look up the year)
Well, it’s his property and if he wants to torch it in 24 hours, go fer it, bud. But I can tell you, to besmirch automotive art like that is the act of a guy who deserves to be driving rusty K-cars for the rest of his miserable life.
Yeah, BFG ATs are great tires. Mud, rocks, rain, snow, They can take on anything. I off-road a lot during Summer and they run like champs on rugged rocky trails and during Winter plow through hub deep snow with no problem.
A few years ago when I lived in Los Angeles their was a one vehicle car crash. It was a $1-million Ferrari Enzo on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA. It happened early in the morning and the cops said the driver must have been traveling 120 MPH. He survived. People stopped by the accident scene and got out of their cars, nit to see how the driver was, but to pick up parts that were all over Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Here’s the link to an article of that accident.

He should have put it on a Trailer and taken it to Ferguson and torched it.
The Taxpayers would pick up the Bill to Honor the late great Gentle Giant, the Son that Obama never had (except Trayvon of course).
A fool and his money....
“A man’s got to know his limitations.”
Maybe fast and loud will end up with it
No names, and both were adults. Bet there’s some ME influence here. Can’t think of many others that would have access to million dollar cars at that age.
I’ll bet the wet spot on the road was nothing compared to the wet spots on the front seats.
Driver: I was just doing the posted speed limit, sir.
Officer: That's not a speed limit sign, son. That sign is to let you know you're on Highway 215.
Hmmm, maybe it should have read: "driver lost control and hit a guardrail, subsequently leaving a wet spot in the road -- and all over his pants."
Widow makers in that scenario. Bunch of rich kids, of any age, wondering why they were doing doughnuts or rolling backwards down the street.
Look at the guard rail.he was hauling the mail and lost it pure and simple
I distinctly recall that accident... it was posted here, I believe.
I am fairly certain it was not his money.
Well, at least the car was a hybrid, so the environment wasn’t damaged for the short time it was on the road.
Reference bump!
Some of those parts were worth thousands if not tens of thousands. The ones picking them up were landscapers going to work trying to make a few extra bucks. Well they struck gold that morning.
