The end is near for RG III, Redskins
ESPN ^ | NOV 26 2014 | John Keim

The Redskins will say they're not giving up on Robert Griffin III, that he can be developed, that he can still become the quarterback they hoped he would be -- and expected him to be -- when they gave up four draft picks for him in 2012.

It's hard to believe them. Everything else suggests this is the end for Griffin in Washington.

The bastards crippled RG III and now are dumping him. Oakland is calling.

Haha! It's a hoot watching Chip Kelly and his gimmicky college offense blow through quarterbacks like a Pez dispenser.

How many games will Sanchez last? Somebody needs to have a serious intervention and tell Kelly this isn't the Pac-12.

A Super Bowl win is very doable. He has the right team this year.

If Peyton Manning's retarded brother can win two Super Bowls with 8-8 teams, ANYONE can win.

I think they rushed RGIII back too soon and the knee has never been allowed to fully heel. He really needed to take the year off.

But when a team mortgages their future to draft you, this is what happens.

In my humble opinion, RG III could literally revive his career playing for the Eagles under Chip Kelly.

The Eagles have a fairly decent offensive line, and as such Kelly could work on RG III to bring back the good throwing mechanics he showed during his last year at Baylor.

I don’t know what to think. None of those QBs became successful after leaving Washington. I don’t know if it’s because of their fragile minds—let’s face it, many people doing difficult tasks do not have the perseverence to endure hardships and overcome adversity. So I wonder if these guys were just too delicate to last in football. Now, the game is too PC and you can’t get rid of a black QB so quickly. Heck, Washington is practically required to draft black QBs for some reason.

I don't know where RG will go from here. Maybe we could have a year of him actually "learning" the system but I doubt it. A lot will also depend on how Colt does. He's a good qb but not a top tier qb. The best term to describe the skins right now would be "disarray".

Again, damn shame we didn't get luck.

I don’t know much about McCoy, but what makes a “top-tier QB”? How can one judge such a thing? Russell Wilson seemed to be a good, smart QB at Wisconsin, yet he was a low draft pick and he now has a SB ring. Yes, I would prefer a big, strong QB along the lines of Elway, Manning, etc., rather than a spindly-leg scrambler who winds up being easily hurt. I don’t know if RGIII has the humility to learn and to work harder than he does.
