Evidence: Michael Brown Was High on Pot and Carrying a Bag of It
CNS News ^ | 11/25/2014 | Barbara Hollingsworth

Michael Brown had THC, a behavior-altering substance found in marijuana, in his system when he was killed on August 9th by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson, according to a toxicology report performed at a St. Louis University lab.

The toxicology screen, which was done on Aug. 10th, found “12 nanograms/ML of Delta-9-THC”, the primary psychoactive ingredient in pot, in Brown’s bloodstream at the time of his death.

This amount of Delta-9-THC in Brown's blood was more than twice the amount that in Washington State--where marijuana is legal--would allow someone to be arrested for driving under the influence.

“Delta-9-THC detection in the blood defines impairment,” according to the report.

THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) “seriously impairs judgment and motor coordination,” according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

So, a 300 pound adult who had just robbed a liquor store and committed assault and battery was high on drugs when he assaulted a police officer and tried to get the officer’s gun.

Case closed.

As I understand it, because of GMO hybridization, today’s marijuana is totally different from what it was in the Sixties. The irony is here that folks are trying to pass anti-GMO laws, which the police have said will also again make marijuana cultivation illegal.

Toxicology report for Michael Brown: "THC"/marijuana

Forensic report of bag carried by MB: "Marijuana"

Object of MB's strong armed robbery: Cigarillos (Swisher Sweets) commonly used to smoke marijuana

So how does the "gentle giant" - who must have also been a "ghetto scholar" - decide to dress that day?

From PO Darren Wilson's Grand Jury testimony (and the below crime scene photo):

Wilson: "Brown had bright yellow socks on that had green marijuana
leaves as a pattern on them." (Link, page 208)

“Read the grand jury testimonies, and you’ll find where the grand jurors are asking a detective about their investigation into whether or not evidence was found regarding Dorian Johnson and Michael Brown using ‘wax” to enhance the effect of the THC in the marijuana.”

Had to look it up:

‘Wax

A highly concentrated form of THC, similar to Hash, that is a waxy substance and smoked to get high

Hey I scored some Wax lets go blaze it up’

I’m not impressed that marijuana is any form of excuse for his behavior.

There is an old single panel comic that featured two fat police officers walking down a sidewalk, with one saying, “I smoked marijuana once. It made me want to hurt and kill.”

These guys are working on it.

http://www.cannabixtechnologies.com/

Cannabix Technologies Inc. is the developer of the patent pending Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer for law enforcement and the workplace. The Cannabix Marijuana Breathalyzer drug-impairment recognition system is based on breath testing technology that has been developed to test individuals for recent consumption of the THC component of marijuana. Cannabix is advancing its products to enable law enforcement personnel to use this technology to enhance detection of marijuana impaired driving offences on North American roads at a time when marijuana is becoming legal in many jurisdictions. Cannabix is working to develop a drug-testing device that will detect Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC- the psychoactive component of marijuana that causes intoxication) using breath samples. The device would be used to provide detection of THC at the roadside to identify drivers intoxicated by the use of marijuana. The device will also be useful for other practical applications such as testing employees in the workplace where intoxication by THC can be hazardous.

Some of the super weed people are smoking these days is a serious stuff with potency and effects on the order of much more serious drugs such as psychotropic Mushrooms, Peyote and PCP.

It ain’t your parents and grand parents harmless Woodstock Wacky Weed from back in the days of the Summer of Love.

It’s bad ass weed in ways Cheech and Chong never envisioned or dreamed possible and it can be dangerous and have serious negative side effects, especially when taken with other drugs

I would like to see a mental work up.
My first and current opinion is suicide by cop!
No one with out a death wish would reach into a cop car
and fight/taunt a cop.
Also didn’t see anything about his gang activities.

I thought pot was supposed to mellow you out and not encourage you to be violent

That's the typical experience - I saw many people get high in my day but none got violent. Certainly a choir boy doesn't assault cops under the influence of pot (contrary to what Reefer Madness told us) ... but if one is on a hair-trigger to begin with, pot can deaden one's few inhibitions.
