I understand terminal velocity is reached after about ten feet which constitutes one storie.The dude was probably going at least a hundred mph. He’s very lucky to be alive.

Oh, no, not even close. You fall only 32 feet in the first second. . . which is about what one story actually is in a high rise. The fellow would be hitting ~22 miles per hour after one story. Terminal velocity of a human body lying flat is 100 times that at about 120 to 185 MPH. . . it's faster if he's falling feet or head first. You have to fall for 11-12 seconds or about 1150 feet to reach terminal velocity. . . Our faller may have just been approaching it when he went he encountered the Toyota.
