CHANGE YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION NOW
Vanity | 11/21/2014 | Mr. K

Posted on 11/21/2014 7:57:24 AM PST by Mr. K

Change your voter registration NOW!. There is no voting action we can do to get rid of GOP RINO's until 2 more years so....

EVERYONE should change your voter registration to INDEPENDENT Right now.

We would have 2 years to make (I) the majority in every state. Even some Democrats would join Independants after this bozo.

I KNOW some wonderful people who do not follow the news like we do, and have just been lifelong demcrats because their parents were... I have seen them get more and more disgusted with what this guy is doing.

I agree but to what? I have been registered with all the parties at one time or the other.

In many states when registering as an independent, you won’t be able to vote in the primaried, thus allowing the GOPe select the likes of Romney and McCain.

Libertarian is even better. Greatly cuts down on the political calls. Most everyone figures you’re too nutty to bother with. I noticed that after I switched from Pub a few months ago.

In MA there IS an Independent Party.

I have been registered as “Unenrolled” for about 20 years which means no party affiliation.

Registered as Independent at Brooklyn College in the 80s. At some point, I really don't remember when, but 1 of the 3 times I moved, I reregistered Republican. A few years back, I gave up on them and switched back to Independent.

I used to vote on the Right-to-Life(*) line in New York, but they aren't there any more, so I vote on the Conservative line.
(*) generally speaking, if the candidate I wanted to vote for was on the R2L line, I voted for them on that line.

NO

Besides all the reasons listed above, all you people that think you are so smart by changing your party are exactly the reason that we have fewer and fewer good conservatives willing to run for office. They look at the voter registration and get cold feet thinking they will have no chance of winning.

IS EVERYONE HERE MISSING MY POINT?

YOU CAN CHANGE BACK TO VOTE *TWO YEARS FROM NOW* IN THE GOP PRIMARY *TWO YEARS FROM NOW* IF YOU WANT TO, IF THE GOP HAS TURNED INTO SOMETHING WORTH VOTING FOR AGAIN

BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO *TODAY* THAT WILL SEND SOME SIGNALS?

WHAT CAN YOU DO *NOW* TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO STOP BEING DEMOCRAT-LITE?

I am beginning to see why we have such problems...listen closely...

There are things you can do in two years during the next election, AND there are things you can do NOW.

Switch back to GOP, if you like, in 2016- but imagine what would happen if in the next 3 months the GOP was relegated to third place in every state?

I think it might wake some of them up (*might*)

In NYS we should register in the conservative party even though Chairman Mike Long is a GOP sychophant who just wants to ge patronage jobs for his family and friends.

It does not matter what you switch to- preferably independant or libertarian (depending on your state)

You can consider it a TEMPORARY move, if you want, and just to make a statement...

I am open to other ideas, whose got any?

But as Ronald Reagan said- before we can defeat the democrats we have to defeat the GOP

NY GOP is especially bad

For one thing, even if everyone changes their registration TODAY, it will take several months for this to show up in the Secretary of State's websites. These changes are not recorded overnight, and they are only reported quarterly or less.

Secondly, sorry, but way too many people will forget to change their registration back to Republican. And, if you are going around telling everyone that they can change it back in 2 years, then you let the cat out of the bag and it becomes a fake protest.

I agree it is best to hold their feet to the fire by phone calls, faxes, e-mails, tweets, or whatever. Also, it is important for interested parties to come out from behind their computers and help out with precinct walking and phone banking. Also, please stop screaming at everyone.

You think no one would notice for 3 months? It would hit the news (like on Hannity or Rush) in days

(especially if we tell them)

Pay attention:

You can SWITCH BACK to vote in the primaries in 2016, if you want

But this is something that can be done NOW

Unless you guys all want to wait two years to act. who ELSE has ideas? Let’s hear them

That would be my choice too, in NY

Then we take control of it and oust the leaders

WHY DOES THE THE NY GOP CHAIRMAN STILL HAVE HIS JOB?
