The emerging rule seems to be whenever a contentious situation like this appears to be beginning with one or more of the “favored classes” (you know blacks, Hispanics, LGBT, etc.), a designated “defensive videographer” (DV) should get out their cellphone and begin creating a audio and video record of the incident to be presented at the inevitable administrative hearing to follow. Two (or more) DVs would be even better.

Better yet, the fraternity should invest in some GoPro wearable cameras and just record entire activity sessions from beginning to end.
