FULL TITLE: t want to be the real me': Transgender teen defies religious protests after going to U.S. school dressed as a woman... and now wants sex-change surgery
A transgender teenager is finally enjoying life as a woman after defying religious protests against her sexuality.
Leah Walton, 19, from Mississippi, U.S., was the victim of protests against her transition on her first day at school dressed as a woman.
She was greeted at school gates by fellow students and parents wearing T-shirts with slogans such as 'You're going to hell' and 'Abomination'.
But despite the continued abuse, Leah has refused to stop living as a woman.

so wants with the dress ???
Me, too! I was out at 17 and was darn happy about it, too!

Had some friends who graduated at 18. That is because of when their birthday fell and were or should I say were not able to start Kindergarten.
Googled the name of the school +protest.
Only one site came up! How often does that happen?
And that’s about students protesting against the school that they are required to follow the dress code whereas this he/she is not. Nothing at all about protests against him/her.
No sites on News for the same google.
Apparently the "evil bigoted protesters" were the ones hiding in the closet.
Proving my theory it's not so much about gender but about the need for attention, he's slapped on clown make up.
Err, in a thread about trannies, best not to use the phrase "I was out..." at any point. Just sayin. :-)
This dude has way more problems than gender confusion if he’s 19 and still in HS. I graduated from HS at 17. Then took large college loads so had a degree and my first real job at 20. No, wasn’t a whiz kid, but just an average teen who thought it was more fun to goof off at college than waste summers back home.
LOL!!!
19 and in high school? I graduated at 17 (just turned). The mentally disturbed XY chromosome needs help, not support from ‘supporters’, but from professionals.
I graduated when I was 19 because I had been held back a year when I was a little kid. I believe it was because of ‘emotional problems’ that were later diagnosed in adulthood as bipolar disorder.
It’s not always a case of stupidity or laziness.
If only this boy could experience menstruation and the crap that goes with it. Ya now, the bloating, the cramps, the hormonal fluctuations and making sure you have enough pads and/or tampons.
He’d forfeit within a month.
How about just out right childbirth?
Oh yea he’d really give it up.
But in this case it’s because the individual is suffering from a mental illness as well as a pathological need to seek attention.

Does “he” have a period monthly? Which if he doesn’t, he’s not a woman, sorry.
I graduated at 18. But still, yeah, I would hope that he really works on graduating out of there and moving on from it, before worrying about his other issues.
It is all about the AtTeNtIoN! with this guy and his mother. He’s in the news constantly. I recognized him from last year -
