I propose an addition to the OFFICIAL FREE REPUBLIC LEXICON. Gruber, grubering and grubered are so much more suited than the "old school" lie, lieing and lied. Who knows, these great and expressive terms might, with a little shove, catch hold in the national lexicon.

It would be a fitting legacy for Mr. Gruber.
Simply 'lying' just doesn't cover it. "Grubering" adds the necessary ingredient of arrogant, elitist, chutzpah that so dominates progressive thinking.

I still use “Clymer” as a noun, as made famous by George W Bush and Dick Cheney in the 2000 campaign.
W called Adam Clymer, NY Slimes “journalist” a “major league a-hole”, and Dick Cheney replied “Big time”....
So one can be a “clymer” or a “major league clymer” or a “big time clymer”, etc....
Gruber has earned the same, I s’pose. :)

To me “Gruber” means: “to disdainfully, but truthfully, brag about one’s prior lying and deception”.
“Obama”: to say the opposite of the truth continually and obviously while laughing in the face of the public.
