It was a milestone day around here, perhaps the greatest doubleheader sweep in Southland hardball history.

Mike Trout and Clayton Kershaw.

American League and National League Most Valuable Players.

The Angels and the Dodgers sitting alone atop the baseball world.

In the middle of November.

Too bad this isn’t the end of October.

Kershaw pitched a perfect game except for Hanley Ramirez making an error.

Next year is an odd-numbered year, so the Giants won’t win the World Series.

When numbers like this get a player the MVP you know Manny
Caberra had a “bad year”.

MIKE TROUT 2014

.287 HR 36 RBI 111 Runs 115 (MVP year)

MIQUEL CABERRA 2014

.313 HR 25 RBI 109 Runs 101 (bad year)

MIGUEL CABERRA 2014

.348 HR 44 RBI 137 Runs 103 (MVP year)

Mike Trout had better hope Manny Caberra stays sick.

Well done Mike and Clayton.

The reward for the best TEAM is to win The World Series.
