Sixty-three percent of Americans questioned in a Gallup survey conducted in October and released this month said they believe having a gun in their house makes it a safer place to be.
“A record-high percentage in U.S. say guns makes homes safer,” said Gallup in its analysis of the survey. The organization has polled on this issue in five surveys going back to 1993 (although the question in the 1993 survey was somewhat different than in later surveys).
Gallup also reported on how eleven different demographic groups responded to the question. Among all of these except one—Democrats—a majority said this October that having a gun in the house makes it a safer place to be. …

DemocRATS are afraid of guns because they don’t know anything about them. I’m afraid of “blunt objects” like hammers and baseball bats in the hands of crazy people and believe they should be banned. Not the “blunt objects”, the crazy people.
Selective service registration should be accompanied by 1 day per year during the birth month, attendance at a military reserve training day, compensated at $100
Training should include:
- conditions and procedures for call up
- updating of draft status (medical / criminal records, etc)
- basic first aid class
- basic firearm training
This would go a long way to dispelling much of the anti-gun crowd’s propaganda.
This is wonderful news, but I don’t think it will stop the gun grabbers.
So many other crazies are trying to modify basic patterns of human thought and behavior. The gun grabbers have to get in line behind the forces trying to turn human nature on its head.

I’m convinced that most Democrats are afflicted by some form of mental illness. Democrat males, generally AREN’T MEN. They’re wuss ‘metrosexual’ types.
You’re right. The only reason gun grabbers are after guns is because guns hinder their true agenda. As long as Satan walketh about, the agenda will motivate them.
I would be willing to bet, that the other 37%, who don't believe guns make homes safer, are the same chumps that Johathan Gruber had in mind, when he set out to deceive the American people on Obamacare.

Untrue. Liberals love guns and they own them in large numbers. Oh sure there are the ‘useful idiots’ they trot out to maintain the facade but by and large they own and use guns. Anyone who believes differently needs to educate themselves. Liberals have no problem using them, even for the most trivial of reasons, either.
