In all fairness to Glenn and Maggie, how long has it been since they've seen Beth and what have they gone thru since they last saw her?
After almost getting my head smashed in by a bat then eaten by some cannibals, I don't think I'd even recognize Beth if she showed up in the middle of the road........
I mean, it wasn't like yesterday she disappeared........
I'd guess less than two weeks in the timeline of the story. Beth dissappeared in the car, and while Daryl was looking for her, he met up with the "claimers." He stayed with them a few days until he met back up with Rick, who was a day away from Terminus. Then they went to Terminus, and were immediately almost eaten. Then they escaped, and went to the Church. So that seems like less than two weeks.
No, but they finally got back together with Daryl at Terminus. How long has that been since they were all locked in the train car together? One week? Two? It hasn’t been that long, and they haven’t even tried to look for her. It’s just kind of weird that they hopped on the bus without even talking to Daryl, first (although Daryl was missing for 24 hours at the time).
And it isn’t like they don’t have a clue where to look for Beth. The funeral home was stocked with new food, Daryl knows someone lives or visits there. Stake the place out, and see who shows up.
Going by the time line of the show, that would probably be about 10 - 14 days.
The entire 2nd half of Season 4 was only perhaps a week in 'their time'. Terminus was one day, into the night when they're all together in the woods. The day after, they find Father Gabriel. Next day, the Food Bank with that night Bob missing and remaining 'Termites' killed off. The following day, Abe and Glenn's group leave and that night Daryl comes back. I believe Abe's group had one night on the road after leaving
With all of that, I get 12 days. I'd say 10 - 14 days would be about right.(assuming I miscalculated a little)
