The cricket bat with half a dozen finishing nails driven into it (an old favorite of mine) is not the weapon. I'm the weapon.
The advantage of the gun is that I'm a lot more dangerous a long ranges than I am with a crowbar or an enhanced cricket bat. That said, ammo is expensive....
