Agreed...The UI and Metro start menu is pretty terrible but the underlying OS is pretty solid.

If Win 10 fixes the former and makes the OS usable and intuitive to home users as well as business users, Microsoft will find success again.

Yes, it is.

Windows 8 has been completely rejected by business, which is the biggest buyer of windows by far.... ITs also been roundly rejected by consumers.

The idea that you could force the ZUNE interaface onto the desktop was just beyond stupid.

Windows 8 has been such a disaster for MS that they are releasing a full version update barely 2 years after its release, and labeling that Windows 10, skipping 9 to move as far away from it as fast as possible.

There is no spin on the planet that can be offered to make windows 8 anything but a miserable failure. Its been such a failure MS upped the non support date of Windows Vista to try to prop up sales as well...

This thing is an abject, whole, and complete failure on every level from MS.
