In handing Republicans control of the Senate on Tuesday, Americans effectively voted for the party's hostile plans against President Barack Obama’s environmental legacy. Their votes also put the Senate's environment and climate policy into the hands of the worst science-denier in national politics: Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe, who is almost certainly the next chair of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
Inhofe claimed in 2003 that global warming might help humanity. “It's also important to question whether global warming is even a problem for human existence. Thus far no one has seriously demonstrated any scientific proof that increased global temperatures would lead to the catastrophes predicted by alarmists. In fact, it appears that just the opposite is true: that increases in global temperatures may have a beneficial effect on how we live our lives.”

If humans really were capable of causing the entire planet to warm a couple degrees over hundreds of years of using carbon based energy,isn’t that a GOOD THING considering the Next ICE AGE is GUARANTEED.?? I mean anything we can do to prolong the Next Ice Age is a good thing right??

We’ll get more plants as well. In professional greenhouses, actually any greenhouse where someone is serious about plants, even illegal marijuana set ups, they actually pump in CO2 into the greenhouse to help the plants grow. Same thing would happen with the earth is the CO2 percentage ever rose, which it will never do because of man because it is just too vast, so I don’t know where liberals get this “The earth will be destroyed” bulls**t. If anything the earth will have more life if CO2 levels rose. And then this other myth they keep pushing that animals will die from temperature change. What animals? Animals deal with vast amounts of temperature change all year long and they are saying they can’t survive a ONE degree average temperature rise from the past 100 years? WHAT? Where I live we got deer who live on plants who are able to survive minus zero temperatures to 100 degree temps and libs are saying they can’t survive a one degree change? WHAT?
