Hubby wants something that’s FASTER....I keep telling him that it’s not JUST the computer that affects that....but he has a hard time with technology concepts...he’s more into finance...lol
cool. Thought so, and haven’t gotten out much in the last couple of years so I’m very thankful for the update!
Find a Service manual for your laptop online.
Disassemble as far as needed to get to the power input port.
Unsolder the plug from the board it is soldered to...paying attention to polarity.
Cut the plug from the end of the power supply cord...prepare the cord for soldering to the board...paying attention to polarity.
Solder the appropriate leg of the power supply cable to the appropriate place on the board on the laptop.
Reassemble with cord leading out the opening in the case where plug used to be.
Test. No need for battery anymore.
I don’t think so. “laptop hard drive enclosure” on Amazon or Ebay, and find one that fits the drives you have in there. Good Luck.
