FULL TITLE: 'Religious zealot' Christian student 'decapitated 19-year-old friend because he thought he practiced witchcraft'
A deeply Christian college student in Oklahoma allegedly nearly decapitated the son of a state trooper with a sword because the victim practiced witchcraft, police say.
Isaiah Marin of Stillwater was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in the attack that killed 19-year-old Jacob Andrew Crockett a day earlier.
The two had been playing cards with a third pal, Marin's brother, when Marin removed the 'large black sword' from its sheath and began swinging it around, court records obtained by MailOnline show.

That's absolutely NOT true.
You do realize that not all Christians walk in lock step right?

Has anyone bothered to check the water supply in Oklahoma lately?
Very very strange stuff suddenly coming out of that state.
I thought for the longest time that OK was among the most American conservative normal states.

after the Satanic mass in Oklahoma I expected earthquakes to happen for worshiping with the Devil not beheadings.

No not true about cards, but anyone who’s a genuine Christian wouldn’t murder and decapitate a person in a fit of crazy.

I don’t know about that but who said anything about impossible? I just said he is not a Christian and I will stick with that guess

Obviously they have chosen to run with the fact that he claimed to be a Christian rather than the fact that he was a heavy drug user. He is no Christian but facts matter little to the media when they dont fit their template.

If the pictures are him it looks consistent with being consumed by a horrible demon called Meth. It rots you from the inside outward. The sores are poison trying to get out.

That's absolutely NOT true. There's a difference between playing cards and gambling! I know plenty of devout Christians that play cards but don't gamble. Wanna bet?
Sorry I couldn't help myself LOL.

Article says “nearly decapitated”. Maybe he’s “nearly” Christian...

Same as how they are described as “recent converts” to Islam...

How they could honestly pull “Christian” out of that laundry list of confused and conflicting “likes” is beyond me, but this is the state run media eager to provide a counterpoint to Islamic beheadings. Not that he didn’t “like” Islam too, because he did.
His family history is a train wreck and his mother sounds like she has mental issues herself, provoking her obviously ganged up (cut the middle finger) boyfriend into killing her husband as she did.
His face is covered in not acne but scabs and dried blood. There aren’t any elsewhere on his upper torso. Meth can cause people to pick at their faces leading to something that looks like that. If he was on it he only recently picked it up though, he’s not started going gaunt yet but his color is odd, looks jaundiced.
Wonder what sort of “cards” they were playing? Given the rambling list from Illuminati to Islam to Christian, Jewish, etc. I would be surprised if they were using a conventional deck of playing cards. That hodgepodge of religion to me says he may have been hearing voices that he thought was God, and he was trying to figure something out about that “god.”
This is just another media attempt to blame conservative Christians that will backfire once the truth gets out, imho.

as if the “log time” or “ naturally born” into Islam never -ever commit acts of violence...
I wonder who those guys were in Iraq that kept attacking us were...maybe Amish???

What religion is most likely to cut your head off?Depends who you ask...
The gruesome be headings of some 40 Ute corpses in 1850, heads stacked in boxes,
and hung by their long hair from the eves of buildings at Fort Utah,
has long been ignored, You didnt see the Indians beheading the Mormons.

Anyone that deeply Christian isnt going to be playing cards. My grandmother isnt exactly rabid and she wont allow cards in her house.
<snip>
Growing up, conventional playing cards were banned in my home. We only used Rook. One only had to open up Mormon Doctrine to see why my parents banned the cards. It reads,
Members of the Church should not belong to bridge or other type of card clubs, and they should neither play cards nor have them in their homes. By cards is meant, of course, the spotted face cards used by gamblers. To the extent that church members play cards they are out of harmony with their inspired leaders. Innocent non-gambling games played with other types of cards, except for the waste of time in many instances, are not objectionable.

Even if for sake of argument we say he was Christian, It appears that SAYING is enough. I've not found ANY details at all in the posted article to confirm the 'christian' label.
