FULL TITLE: 'Religious zealot' Christian student 'decapitated 19-year-old friend because he thought he practiced witchcraft'
A deeply Christian college student in Oklahoma allegedly nearly decapitated the son of a state trooper with a sword because the victim practiced witchcraft, police say.
Isaiah Marin of Stillwater was charged Thursday with first-degree murder in the attack that killed 19-year-old Jacob Andrew Crockett a day earlier.
The two had been playing cards with a third pal, Marin's brother, when Marin removed the 'large black sword' from its sheath and began swinging it around, court records obtained by MailOnline show.

This punk was clearly under the influence of something that caused a psychotic break. But it wasn't the love of Christ in him, because Christ promises a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

You really think so? Fooled me I though it was just a bad case of acne. As for picking them, we popped our zits all the time. No biggie. We thought that was fun.

Marin’s family’s history with law enforcement dates back to the 1990s, family, news and court records from Bexar County, Texas, show. Marin’s mother, Dianna Marin, who was from Stillwater, is accused of conspiring with her boyfriend, Arnulfo “A.D.” Ayala, to kill her husband, Air Force Staff Sgt. Raul Marin II — Isaiah Marin’s father — on Aug. 5, 1998, records indicate.
Prosecutors said Ayala got Raul Marin drunk, beat him with a crowbar and stabbed him multiple times in a San Antonio residence after Dianna Marin alleged that her husband sexually abused her and told her husband she wanted a divorce but he refused.
Ayala pleaded guilty to murder in 2000 and is eligible for parole in November 2016 but isn’t projected to be released until 2034, according to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
A website maintained by Raul Marin’s mother, Ruth Marin-Eason, states that Dianna Marin was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and served eight years in prison before her sentence was overturned on appeal for a “legal technicality.”

Raul was killed by Arnulfo D. Ayala of San Antonio and estranged wife Dianna Boatman of Stillwater Oklahoma daughter of Howard Boatman and Ledalle Bates of Oklahoma. He leaves behind four sons Ram, Malachi, Isaiah, Samuel, his mother Ruth Marin Eason and two sisters, Rhonda Reyes and Rhoda Wallace. Keep us in prayer we know Jesus will bring us through.
(Diane Boatman Marin of Stillwater Oklahoma) Wife of Raul for 10 years had been planning to have him murdered for 3 years before the murder they had 4 wonderful boys and she had a daughter by a previous affair. Raul was murdered by his wife’s lover and for the insurance money. Raul and Dianna had separated for about 3 weeks when her lover came by to seek information for Dianna. Raul was not aware of their affair. Arnulfo Diaz Ayala of San Antonio, Texas came over with a six pack and Raul and A.D. were talking and Raul fell asleep on the floor and A.D. watched him sleep for about 1 hour. He (A.D.) then went to his car and brought a change of clothes and a crow bar. While Raul was still sleeping A.D. hit Raul behind the head 50 times and stabbed him (Raul) seven times. A.D. also cut Raul’s middle finger. He then went to the bathroom to clean himself up and left Raul in a pile of blood. He went home and called Dianna and told her it’s been done.
