MSNBC host Donny Deutsch has been found guilty of scamming a realtor out of over $1 million in commission on the sale of his former $30 million home in the Hamptons. Real estate broker Edward Petrie had claimed he was done out of his 4 percent commission after Deutsch went behind his back and brokered the 2010 sale privately to avoid paying the fee. Petrie had found a potential buyer in hedge fund boss Howard Marks, but once Deutsch realized he knew Marks, the realtor claimed that the TV host went behind his back. Justice Charles Ramos awarded Petrie’s employer, Sotheby’s, $1.2 million in compensation in court last week, reports The New York Post.

That was an open and shut case if the realtor had a listing contract. End of story. Deutsch saved himself a bunch of legal fees, that case should not have lasted more than about 15 minutes and Deutsch’s attorney should be sued for malpractice for even bringing such a case.
I will bet you Deutsch actually sues his atty for letting him get to trial. A**hole liberal. But I repeat myself.

It’s on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It was shown in either a magazine or a website and it made me laugh. I’ve heard he’s gay (has anyone heard that?) but he walks around with greasy kid’s stuff in his hair and loafers without socks. Sort of like the Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin character in “The Nutty Professor.”

On his house, he paid $29mm for the house, held it 3 years and sold it for $30mm. That means he made $1mm. Over a 3 year period, that is a compounded annual return of 1.1%. Now with the attorney’s fees and commission he is forced to pay, he is a LOSER!

TVNewser reports that he got booted after a segment yesterday in which he ran a clip of “angry” TV hosts—including Keith Olbermann. One of his guests then referred to Olbermann as one of “the biggest hate mongers on television.”

Apparently, he was on The Joy Behar Show comes right out and says he is BiSexual!!
