Witness posting on another site says the man hit by the train did not decapitate the woman. He tried to intervene and was chased by the killer into the path of the train. The killer had a machete and was shouting in Arabic. He apparently fled the scene.

This article appears to potentially corroborate that last quote by reporting there were three bloody sheets at the crime scene (body, head, hand?):

"Witnesses told the New York Post they saw the man drag the woman's body out of the building and onto the street, where he kicked her head some 20 feet before going to a nearby railroad track and jumping in front of an eastbound Long Island Railroad train approximately 25 minutes later. Police said his body was found about a mile from the apartment."
(Obviously, it's pretty certain he couldn't have been Italian, what with his hands being preoccupied with the machete and all...) :-)

BTW I think I saw a trailer for a biopic about the Washington DC gay muslim sniper duo. NOTHING in the trailer (based on a true story) that I saw mentioned ISLAM, homosexual encounters, MOOSE, white van, terrorism, or false f(l)ag. SCREW HOLLYWEIRD. All of it was from the perspective of the misunderstood yute.
