Its impossible for mortals to know all the laws.
Americans unintentionally commit 3 felonies a day.
They have no choice because no one can know what crime they might be committing.
And if the government wants to make a case out of it, most people have little recourse.

administrative laws help no citizens when they turn everyone into criminals.
On the contrary, they tremendously help the elite few at the top who are above the law.
Draconian laws are an extremely cheap way for them to eliminate the possibility of sheeple breaking free of economic slavery.

I promise you, youve broken the law at least once this year and had no idea.I know. No promises needed.
I don't usually drive 25 M.P.H. when I'm supposed to so I KNOW that I break the speed laws daily. Ah me, we are a nation of laws, aren't we?

"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with." ― Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, 1957

I’m looking into starting a food-related business next year. Looking at all the food labeling laws, the nutrition labeling laws, warnings for certain allergens, -on top of the possibility of being sued, then there’s the inspections, licenses, certifications and training.....I can’t see that I’d make much of a profit even IF Big Brother didn’t come to whisk me away for labeling something wrong or not storing my ingredients ‘correctly’.
I know some of the health requirements are necessary and to protect the public, but pretend you want to start a business and read the rules and regulations. It’s enough to make most just give up.
And now this story.

This country needs to stop pretending it’s still a “land of the free.” When the heavy hand of tyranny can and does reach out and destroy the lives of innocent at its whim, it’s definitely not “free.”

No time to watch a video. What were the charges? The story doesn’t elaborate.

I wonder why Gregory didnt do a little research before he set out on his business.Says here in this old document written by a buncha rich white guys that I have the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As it happens, growing and selling orchids as a hobby happens to make this guy happy. This should be all the research needed.

However, EVERY Tom, Dick and Harry on the PLANET knows that the taxman cometh and taketh.
I guess OrchidMan forgot that.

I promise you, youve broken the law at least once this year and had no ideaMy wife, who is very conscience about and sure to follow the law, was surprised a few weeks back when we went to church,of all places. We had to park on a side street, and she parked a little close to the nearest driveway. I told her to park at least 5 feet away, and she did. We later found out someone else got ticketed for that very issue. It's crazy that we have been subdued so entirely by mountains of rules and regulations.
