Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan LIED to Dallas hospital staff about his exposure to virus..
Daily Mail ^ | October 27, 2014 | Michael Zennie

Thomas Eric Duncan lied about his exposure to Ebola to hospital staff and to public health officials, even as he was suffering from projectile vomiting and other symptoms of the horrific disease at Texas Presbyterian, an emergency room nurse has revealed.

Duncan initially claimed that he had not been around anyone who had died when he was in Liberia after he was admitted to the Dallas Hospital last month, Sidia Rose told '60 Minutes' on CBS.

Who called Thomas Duncan prior to his sudden departure from Liberia and what were his orders?

He was black. He had a right to lie. About anything. About everything.

Probably the same people who bought his plane ticket and gave him and his ‘fiancé’ some $$$ to go along with his story.

There is a reason the ‘fiancé’ he hadn’t seen in 19 years was whisked away and held incommunicado. You know the family was in on it. Duncan did not sleep in all the beds as she claimed. They had him in isolation in that apartment. Why would they do it? $$$ But from whom? Our government knows. That’s why the family was suddenly taken to an alleged gated community.

I totally agree. NONE of Duncan’s family members coming down with Ebola bolsters your theory, too.

I don’t believe Duncan thought he was going to die. His handlers told him that once he made it to the US he’d get the zmapp and be cured.

Lies in Liberia and the rest of Africa are standard behavior even when there isn’t an ebola epidemic. It’s part of the culture.

Relying at all on the response of the at those at risk of disease is the sign of cultural insulation and naivete. Health care workers and public health officials and politicians need a crash course in reality,,. and quick.

Of all the people treated in the US for this disease, he’s the only one that died. IMO, he may have survived had he been more forthright.

Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your dead! The Dark Man cometh! Bring out your......

(hat tip to: fivecatsandadog!)

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If Duncan had been honest when he first got symptoms he probably would have survived. Getting care early is essential.

It’s starting to sound like these are the same folks who made up the Grand Kenyan’s birth certificate. I also notice that no one has mentioned how the whole house full of Afreekans got here, and why, in the first place. I suppose they have a critical skill necessary to the US national interest? Lying thru ones teeth seems to be a necessary gummint skill?

Here’s another fishy fact.

Apparently Brantly (the doctor with the beard that had Ebola and was treated in Atlanta) was a plasma antibody donor for 3 other Ebola infected persons in the US. But, he was not a donor for Duncan. That means that he could not have had the universal blood type O. The odds of someone being able to give to three other individuals, especially a small number of cases with the other blood types, is a very low probability.

Something is weird here.

I noticed that some time ago. I was wondering if blood type may figure into the mortality rate of ebola patients.

His $1400 plane ticket was bought by his sister, who lives in Charlotte, NC area. I think his mother & nephew are also there too. I read that in an area paper soon after his case was publicized.

I personally think that the daughter of the ‘fiancee’, (the 35 yr old who is a nurse’s aide) knew exactly that Duncan had Ebola, and knew enough to tell everyone else to stay far away. She also knew enough to douse herself with bleach after treating him, and to keep the kids far away.

Also, didn’t the 60 Minutes story mention that Duncan himself suggested that he be treated for free as a charity case? If you are truly that sick, why would you spend one minute thinking about it, unless you had decided upon saying that early on? It’s unlikely the hospital billing dept. was already requesting payment.

The whole ‘fiancee’ story was concocted to bring sympathy to the family/girlfriend here, and to appeal to romantics. I think if the wider public knew how many different kids by different people were involved, & how little actual connection there was between Duncan and said ‘fiancee’, handlers felt that a story about a long-lost fiancee would reduce inquiry/criticism. The first stories about Duncan never mentioned she was a ‘fiancee’.

Also, I’m just speculating about this/could be entirely wrong-but I think he was actually the father of the 19 yr old’s baby, the one he was assisting in bringing to the hospital back in Liberia. Once she was dead, he left in a hurry. There are too many conflicting stories about her & her family. Since they are all dead now, they can’t contradict his story.

Maybe Duncan lied to his family here too. Hopefully someday the truth will come out about this entire situation.
