On Thursday, Mark Levin sharply criticized CNN anchor Carol Costello for deriving amusement of audio of Bristol Palin describing being assaulted to the police.

Stick to issues, and real questions.
Our media is partisan, to the point of becoming silly.
Lou Costello wasn't the greatest comedian ever but at least he had his moments ("Who's on first?").
I bet she’s outraged about domestic violence. As long as its a liberal woman.
Absolutely. The thingis we have plenty of people right here that regularly say far worse about the Palins. Any thread with the word “Palin” in it will invariably revolve into a PDSfest and has since 2007.
So before we collectively and IMO correctly get up on our hind legs over this, we probably ought to deal with the problem in our own house first. Until we do, we collectively don’t have a lot of credibility bitching about the MSM doing the same thing.
Costello, what a clown. She’s a woman who was obviously hired due to her looks . . . has to wear a set of spectacles with window glass to project an illusion of intelligence. Is she the female Ed McMahon?
You are completely correct.
The left (and by this, I mean the media also, since mostly there is a complete overlap between the media, and the left) is very much in a completely double-standard, and have been for years.
The left is only against domestic violence, against AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE MEN. And just this once, American conservative women’s family.
American conservative men, are not the primary offenders however. For the most part, American conservative men are very well behaved.
So the left goes hog-wild when there is some example, they can seize.
They are completely, totally on their leftist agenda now and have been railing senselessly for a month about this.
Palin is not the problem.
Conservatives are not the problem.
Liberals are mostly the problem, yet the media is completely silent.
There is no problem on earth that does not have a liberal as the root cause or a greatly contributing factor. Not one.
But when we help them do their job, that blame is all on us.

Should have Mailed it to the Marx Brothers.
As they should be sharply criticized. That was totally uncalled for. I don’t watch CNN but saw the clip on Fox & Friends this morning. That anchor is a total witch. She should be fired.
You propose waiting until the collective “we” are perfect before condemning attacks such as this?
That approach will ensure failure.
Thanks for the ping KC
No, I am saying that the sooner we get our own crap together the better. Or do you think that rampant PDS here is for the good of anyone?
Usually when one stakes the moral high ground, they have a solid platform. And to be sure, plenty of us stand on it RE Palin. But when you have the regular PDS posts that are diametrically opposed to honesty it surely undermines that. Wouldn’t you agree?
I beg to differ! Lou Costello was a brilliant comedian with an equally brilliant partner, Bud Abbott. Their wild tv show from the 50s was a major influence on the Seinfeld show and endless comics. It’s still hilarious 60 years later.
I don’t believe in “collective” thought.
Scary buddy.
This attack on Palins family is disgusting and decent people would agree because they are decent.
That is the reason people should agree.
Shared opinion and goals are not the same as collective thought.
Someone elses derangement does not impact my honesty.
I don’t propose to wait until everyone who claims to be conservative is perfect.
And so it comes back to that. Why am I not surprised.
What does purity, pray tell, have to do with agreeing that we do ourselves no favors harboring people spreading outright lies about conservatives?
