If they called the strike zone like it actually is supposed to be called with today’s hitting culture and relief pitching, it could potentially be 12 innings, 3 total runs in 2 1/2 hours, even with all the pitching changes nowadays.

Dombrowski has only showed he can bring high-priced talent players to Detroit...shame he doesn't know how to build a team(that said...Go Royals!)
With Verlander, Cabrera showing their wear in the twilight of their careers(but with years left on their huge contracts), look for the Tigers to fall back into a "watch them earn their stripes" type of decades long slumber...especially since the Illich family will not likely be so generous with dishing out big contracts in the future(assuming they still own the team).
Time to build talent from within, even though Dombrowski depleted their farm system trying to fill holes on his "team of stars and scrubs", their long-term big-dollar stars still have some trade value...I say use it or lose it.
...the "spend like the Yankees" formula failed...time to purge and move on(that includes Dombrowski).
That Doug Fister trade was pretty puzzling.

Joe buck is the worst of all homers. The jerk is a stl. Cards fan so naturally he loves the cards vs dodgers and hates kc but loves the giants (when they play kc. When the cards play the giants he hates the giants) buck is a legend in his own mind. hate the guy whether it be baseball or football.
I aso suggest bringing back a few day games to the world series. (iknow, its a supposed ratings killer) d;^)
At least bring back Saturday and Sunday daytime games.

That is the time and reason I lost my love for football. I have not watched a full game since this new era started. Even when my Packers won a Super Bowl I only watched about ten minutes of the game.
