Have to read the article to see that they have to wear special gloves. It is not like their unwashed hands are touching patients. Not supporting this craziness but just noting what I read in the article.
Understood, but try putting on gloves with dirty hands without contaminating the gloves, which is the principal reason that providers wash their hands.
Everybody has to wear the special gloves. You wash your hands before putting on the sterile gloves.
If they are true traditionalists, the left glove would be covering a feces laden hand. Doesn’t sound like a good idea.
