Elsie, what are you trying to say? That the word of wisdom has something to do with bathing in the garments? The word of wisdom is the one thing that the rest of the world applauds the Mormons for and you try to make fun of it. The Mormons live longer than most anybody in the world because of their word of wisdom. I’m sure my wife will outlive me by decades, her dad is already 95 and still driving and taking care of himself.
The Mormons health code called “The Word of Wisdom” is something we would all be well advised to adopt. They knew tobacco was bad for us way before society did and only recently has it been found that tobacco was good for bruises.
Yes, you are right they still honor the Word of Wisdom, good for them. If fact, if I understand it right you aren’t eligible to go to the temple and get garments if you don’t honor “The Word of Wisdom”.
Huh?
I was referring to your wife's eating habits.
O... K...
7 And, again, strong drinks are not for the belly, but for the washing of your bodies.
You probably know that one must be WORTHY to enter the temple.
Is your wife's TR card current?
They knew nothing of the sort...more “wive tales” and myths.
