Yup, new names are needed. I’d actually look to the old post-WWI names for the Battlecruisers that were never built (names that were lifted from age of sail ships) but those are just about all legacy carrier names.

Then again, Ranger, Constellation and perhaps Monitor could work. Might make up for hanging Independence on a freakin’ LCS.

Weren’t most of those recent minesweeper names?

The Brits always had better names to draw from. Furious, Terror, Vengeance, Warspite for instance.

It’s a new age, we need to keep up with the times... these ships could be named the Fabulous Class and every ship could be named after some homosexual behavior or whatever.
