You don’t think a jury from St. Louis country wouldn’t turn in a false “guilty” verdict just to avert a riot or seek some sort of vengeance? It would be very dangerous for the prosecutor to bring trumped up charges on the belief or hope he would be acquitted due to the lack of evidence.

I live in STL city, not the county, but my impression has been that a lot of people here are fed up with the protesters. Only those that were already inclined to believe that Mike Brown was a "Gentle Giant" are in favor of Wilson being charged. The opinions have not changed much since it was revealed that Brown had just robbed a store before being killed.

Prior to that, I think a lot of people might have thought that Brown was unfairly targeted, but once the video of the store robbery came out, most opinions have been pretty fixed.

It's gotten to be a joke that as soon as one of these goons is shot by the police, the momma gets on TV to say what a good boy he was. Nobody with any common sense believes it anymore.

Unless they stack the jury with a bunch from North County, you'd be hard pressed to find two people, much less twelve from South County or West County to convict Wilson. (Well, maybe if they came from Webster Groves or Kirkwood). So, no, the jury would not be intimidated by the protesters. Most people I know would love to find a way to piss them off even more.
