Rosie O'Donnell has gone ballistic...again. This time it's because producers of The View, backed by Whoopi Goldberg, want to draw in a younger audience and to that end add flash sales to the mix and finally fill the fifth seat - with a much younger host, a show insider tells MailOnline. The View is desperately trying to find younger viewers. Hosted by Whoopi, 58, Rosie, 52, Nicolle Wallace, 42, and Rosie Perez, 50, the show is drawing in a much older AARP-friendly audience. ABC executives are intent on making changes in an effort to attract viewers in the 18-to-34 demographic, an age group coveted by advertisers. Currently, The View is being crushed in the 18-to-34 demo group by both The Wendy Williams Show (in first place) and new talk show The Real (in second).

Last time I saw The View I was sick. It made me sicker... It is a typical daytime tv show that is for the typical Obama supporters. which is the unemployed fat ass Amishe.
Paint drying is more entertaining.
Did someone check the roof for structural damage after Rosie hit it?
Well there is a whole lot of people I left out! Lily Cole, Lily Aldridge, Nina Agdal, Natasha Henstridge, Natasha Vodianova, Erin Heatherton, Lindsay Ellington.
If we put them ALL in the show, the camera would have to zoom way out to see them all, better to have closer zoom imho. lol
Rosie has a face that would melt steel.
” She’s always pissed off about something.”
Ever seen a lesbian who wasn’t.?
New Zoo Review! Emily Peden was SOOO Hottt!
Your logic and your taste in women are both impeccable. Well played!
“...Whoopie has top billing, and bigger office.”
At first blink, I thought that said ‘orifice.’ Whew!
Things that cannot be unseen!!!!!
Yep, Rosie thought she was signing up for a solid hour of “progressive” propaganda spewed forth by a panel of fem morons.
It matters NOT your age, it’s your SINGLE DIGIT IQ they go after!!! If you are watching this drivel, you aren’t smart enough to VOTE!!!
OMG....OMG....OMG!!!!!! NIGHTMARE!!!
What is wrong with this country when people in the 18-34 age group have time to go to a live TV show in the middle of the day? Why aren’t these people at work?
So let’s have a liberal-themed show featuring these and other young women (ok some men too). Instead of asking them if they knew Oscar de la Renta, clothes, and their modeling/actress careers, we ask about their charitable and social work.
Lots of these kids have social projects, Lily Cole, Angela Lindvall certainly do. Even if it’s just Greenpeace, PETA or World Wildlife, we give them a platform to present their work helping the world (even if the producers, you and me, disagree with some of their positions). I suppose we can find some men too, maybe ones featured in Red Bulletin.
So we have young-ish good looking famous people talking about their engagement with what they see as problems, with some humor and current events thrown in, and mostly liberal. Some phony controversy, naturally, a little cattiness. Any “balance” would be subtle.
Do you think we’d get the 18-30 demo to watch?
Do you think we’d get to meet Candace?
I think we just might. First though, I have to convince the wife to let me liquidate the portfolio so I can contribute some seed capital to our venture. I’m not optimistic.
I’ll email George Soros and the Tides Foundation.
“It wasn’t rape-rape” Goldberg backs the concept of adding a fifth idiot, a young one, to draw in viewers who fall outside their current demographic groups — #1, those who wear Lifecall, and #2, those who can’t reach and/or operate the remote control.
The 18 to 34 year old people I know are either at work or in school and not available to watch day time tv even if you could get them off their smart phones.
I doubt if the older viewers will be interested in the same thing as the younger generation. Sounds like a stupid idea to me. I am a member of the AARP age group, and rarely watched the view.
When I did see it, it was deficient in intellect and morality, so I never watched a whole show. If I watch daytime tv - it’s usually a business channel or local news.
