Inaccurate reporting. They aren’t public parks... they are community parks, funded by community taxpayers. They are open to residents of the community and their invited guests. And unlike presidential voting, residents must present ID. I took a recent stroll around Grosse Point Farms “park” the other month, and took a dip in their pool. Very nice.
